HEADLIGHT TESTING.

MOTORISTS' RESPONSIBILITY. In order that motorists may adjust car headlights in accordance with the Motor Vehicle Regulations, 1928, the Auckland City Council is clearing the testing-site near the civic centre. The regulations require that no lamp shall project a beam above 3ft. 6m. from the ground at a distance of 75ft. from the car. The Auckland Automobile Association will station a patrol officer on the site in the evenings for a fortnight following next Monday.
