TAKAPUNA'S REVENUE LOST. REQUEST TO THE GOVERNMENT. At last evening's meeting of the council it was resolved, on the lecommendation of the Finance arid Legal Committee, that application should be made to t&e Minister of Health to enact legislation providing reasonable compensation, through the North Shore Water Board, for the loss of revenue suffered by the borough, and also, that, if thought fit, the committee already appointed should present a petition to Parliament on the subject.
