FALL FROM HORSE.
SETTLER TAKEN TO HOSPITAL [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAUMARUNUI, Tuesday. A well-known settler of Opatu, Mr. D. F. McLeod, met with an unfortunate accident at the saleyards. His horse slipped and he fell to the ground, injuring his back. He was taken to the Taumarunui Hospital, and is now progressing favourably. Mr, McLeod was drafting stock at the time of the accident.
