ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.

MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. DRAW FOR THE CHATHAM CUP. & SENIOR PLAYER SUSPENDED. The management committee of the Auckland Football Association met last evening, Mr. G. T. Leo presiding. Permission waa granted to the Tamaki Club to play a match against a Waihou team at Tamaki at 12 o'clock on Monday next. The draw for the first round of the Chat ham Gup competition resulted as follows; Belmont v. Y.M.C.A.. and Thistlo v. Poneonby. The. following transfers were approvedGriffiths, from Eden Rovers to Ponsonby; . Creamer, from Belmont to Ponsonby; Knight, from New Lynn to Tamaki; Orford, from Northeote to Thistle; Cornwell, from Tramways to Newmarket. Bush, of North Shore, was regraded from senior to thircl grade; Galloway, Belmont, from senior to fifin grade; and Malcolm, Y.M.C.A.. from senior to third grade intermediate. On the recommendation of the judicial committee Terry, of Onehunga, was suspended for one month for striking Fyffic, of the Tramways team, in the game at Onehanga last Saturday. Kendall, of Tramways, was reprimanded for dangerous play during the same game. It was decided that the first game at !Blandford Park each Saturday must finish by 3.5 p.m., irrespective of the starting time. Tuesday. , At the weekly meeting of the South Auckland Football Association last evening the action of the secretary in concluding tile arrangements tor the Waikato team's .match against Auckland at Biandford Park next Monday was approved. A discussion on the apxieal of the New Zealand Football Association for financial assistance resulted 'ft a resolution being tabled that the receipts from all matches played im the South Aucklund area on one day be handed over, details to be left to a future rneetfag. Entries for the Chatham Cup were received frOm Huntly, Huntly Thistle and Pukemiro Junction, and are to be sent to the New Zealiund Football Association. The officials who will accompany the team to Aucklauid next Monday are Messrs. Cox and Woodfall. Mr. A. J. Latimer was appointed linesman. The secretary, was authorised to cteal with any matters- arising out of the Waikato team's visit. , The New Zeafend Football Association advised that they had accepted the challenge of Hawke's Bacv and North Auckland for the Brown Shi&ld, and the committee fixed June 30 for the Hawke's Bay match. Should the trophy be retained, July 28 is to be offered to Noj*th Auckland, subject to the Auckland Football Association's approval.
