MR. FALCONER LARKWORTHY. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. LONDON. May 14.

The death has occurred, at thd age of 95, of Mr. Falconer Larkworthy, who was managing director of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, from 1863 until 1890. i '

Mr. Falconer Larkworthy was born in 1833 in India and educated at Liverpool High School. He was a banker, and wrote on questions of currency and exchange. He was for some time chairman of the lonian Bank. Limited, and a v director of the Commercial Union Assurance Company, Limited, and other companies. In 1924 he wrote "Ninety-one Years: Being the Reminiscences of Falconer Larkworthy," whicti Mr. Harold Begbie edited.
