MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.

MR. COATES IN THE NORTH. The Prime Minister officially opened the Waiotira-Kirikopuni section of the railway to Dargaville yesterday afternoon, and spent the night in Dargaville. This morning he will receive and in the afternoon he will be the principal speaker at the unveiling of the war memorial band rotunda. The unveiling ceremony will be performed by Mrs. Coates. This evening the Prime Minister will speak at Paparoa. He will return to Auckland to-morrow.

The Hon. W. Downie Stewart, Minister of Finance and Customs, concluded his Auckland visit yesterday, and returned lo Wellington by train last evening.
