NAVAL APPOINTMENTS.

NEW OFFICERS ARRIVE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION .J WELLINGTON, Monday. Among the passengers by the Tamaroa, which arrived from Southampon today, were two naval officers and five marines for the New Zealand division of the Iloyal Navy. Lieutenant A. Cresswell, who was in tho Dominion about two years ago, will relieve Lieutenant Mack in ono of the sloops. Paymaster-Commander H. Norman will relieve in the Philomel PaymasterCommander A. Bowen, who is joining the Diomede, in place of Pay in aster-Com in under Ilawkc, and returning to England in that ship.
