PLUNKET SOCIETY.
WORK IN HAMILTON. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Friday. The annual meeting of the Hamilton Plunket Society was held to-day,\ Dr. F. D. Pinfold, deputy-mayor, presiding. Dr. Pinfold congratulated the society on the splendid work-it had done during the year and on the increased use that was being made of tho society's rooms. Ihe fact that visits of mothers to tho society's room in Hamilton had increased from 2926 in 1026 to 4356 in 1927 was a clear indication that the society's work was appreciated. The receipts for tho year totalled £1027, and the society had £127 in hand. The following officers were elected: — President, Mrs. C. H. Holloway; vice-pre-sidents, Mesdames M. G. Bell, F. Vickery, W. H. Hume, and V. Ghitty; secretary, Mrs. A. M. Bisley; treasurer, Mrs. o'. E. Pago. Mrs. Vickery was heartily thanked for her services as secretary, and as a member cf the executive for soven years.
