LAVA FLOWING INTO SEA. REPORT FROM TUTANEKAI. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The Marine Department to-day received (he following message from Captain Bollons, of the Government steamer Tutanekai, which is on its way from Auckland to Samoa:—"Passed Falcon Island yesterday afternoon. The island is in violent eruption, and lava is flowing down both sides into the sea. The island is now two miles long in a N.N.E.. and S.S.W. direction, and is 550 ft. in height."
