HEAVY INDUSTRIES ACTIVE. MOTOR SHARES UNAFFECTED. (Received April 26. 5.45 p.m.) British Wireless. RUGBY, April 25. Wlien the Stock Exchange opened today the effect of the Budget proposals was quickly apparent. Its influence was mainly stimulating, and there was a general advance in railway shares, while iron and steel shares were stronger and more active than for some timo past.

Sugar company shares were good, while motor shares were practically unaffected, and showed no movement. Giltedged securities were unchanged.
