WEDDINGS.

The Mount Eden Congregational Church was the scene of the wedding recently of Janet Isabella Harvey, .'youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Harvey, of Bonnie Boon, Mount Eden, to Mr. William Leonard Bygrave, only son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Bygrave, Cheltenham, Devonport. The Rev. Jackson officiated. Entering the church with her father, the bride was gowned in a frock of larkspur blue silk marocain. A hat of sand-dust crepe de chine was worn, with a flat velvet posy of flowers on one side. The shower bouquet was of white flowers with touches of pink. The bridesmaid was Miss Grace Sinclair, who wore a frock of accordeon pleated iein'on crepe de chine, with wide waist band of fine lace and crinoline hat, trimmed with flowers to tone. She carried a yellow shower bouquet. Mr. E. Bold was best man.

The marriage of Miss Dulcie Vail, second daughter of Mrs. Vail and the late Mr. A. F. Vail, of Edendale, to Mr. Herbert Cole, second son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Cole, of Great North Road, Grey Lynn," was celebrated in St. Patrick's Cathedral last evening. Archdeacon Holbrook performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. Ralph Vail, wore a frock of cameo pink georgette with pink and silver flowers appliqued on the skirt and shoulder. The pink tulle veil formed a long train and was caught to the head with a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of pink and white roses. Four bridesmaids followed the bride. The two first were Miss Eileen Vail and Miss Hazel Vail, sisters of the bride, who wore frocks of turquoise blue georgette with ,a deep scalloped hem of silver lace. The headdresses were tulle and silver bandeaux of petals, and they carried bouquets of pink chrysanthemums. Miss Joy Hancock and Miss Ima Burns wore frocks of leaf green georgette with ruched trimming forming petals on the skirt. They wore head-dresses of gold tissue and carried autumn-tinted bouquets. Littlo Joyce Kirkman was train bearer. She wore an apricot taffeta frock with a frilled skirt, each frill being edged with mauve crepe de chine. Mr. Charles Cole was best man, and Mr. Alfred Cole was groomsman.
