RED PLOT IN CHINA.
EXECUTION OF WOMEN. ANXIETY AMONG RESIDENTS. HONGKONG, April 7. Following the recent discovery of a oig "Red" plot in Canton, the authorities there are rigorously carrying out investigations among the allegedly disaffected troops and police. There have been many executions, including those of several young women, who were ringleaders. Much uneasiness prevails among the population. The value of the Government notes has fallen to 50 per cen*. of their face value.
