MIGRANTS FROM MALTA.
'AUSTRALIAN COMMISSIONER. } AN APPOINTMENT POSSIBLE. (Received April 10, 5.5 p.m.) and N.Z. MALTA, April 9. The estimates which are at present held up by the action of the Senato in adjourning before supplies had been Toted contain provision for the appointment of a Commissioner of Migration in Australia. It was stated in the course of the debates on the estimates that the Government intended to appoint, Captain Curmi who is now attached to the Malta Emigration Department.
