KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR.
PEDESTRIAN SERIOUSLY HURT [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.J MORRINSVILLE, Tuesday. Serious injuries were sustained by Mr. A. Shostrom, of Karapiro, Cambridge, aged 70, when he was knocked, down by a car in Morrinsville to-day. Mr. Shostrom stepped out from the pavement in front of the car which was driven by Mr. D. Barlow, of Kiwitahi, and was struck by the left-ha«d wheel. He was removed to hospital suffering from a compound fracture of the right leg and injuries to the scalp.
