FATE OF DUNEDIN BOY. [int telegraph.—press association.] DUNEDIN. Tuesday. A boy, Geoffrey Moncrieff Gilchrist,, aged 7, died at an early hour this morning presumably as. the result of injuries received when knocked down by a motor-; ■ car on March 12. After the accident tbo boy was taken to hospital where he was placed on the dangerously ill list; His condition improved and on April 2 ho was allowed to go home but again became ill.

An inquest was opened this morning when evidence of identification was fcakpn.
