INCREASE IN DIVORCES.
SECRECY NOW A FACTOR. LONDON, April 4. The divorce list has grown steadily since the adoption of secrecy, says the Daily Mail. Undefended decrees granted for the first term of this year total 560, as compared with 488 for last year. Nearly 550 c?.ses are already listed for the next term. The lists of t,he country assizes have increased enormously.
