SEARCH FOR WIVES.
BACHELORS GO TO GREECE. AMERICAN GIRLS NOT WANTED. (Received April 9, 9.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z. LONDON, April 9. The Athens correspondent of the Daily Express says 600 young American bachelors of Greek parentage have landed at Piraeus. They have come to seek Greek wives. The bachelors say they could not get on with the American girls, who are too exacting and frivolous. They want to take back £o America wives sensible and modest in dress. They must not use lipstick and must have long hair.
