The Hawora Trotting Club's Annual Meeting was concluded in dull weather belors another large attendance to-day. Bain over night took the sting out ot the track, which was again fast., * inishms second from 106 yds bhd. in the Waimate Flams Handicap of two miles tho Auckland gelding Gold Jacket was credited with a net time of 4m 29 8-ss, which is one and two-fifths of a second better than the track record of 4m 31a established by Anseline, winner of the President's Handicap last year. On Saturday Oold Jacket's time, 4m 35 4-ss, in winning the cup race, also beat the record for that race by two seconds, tho previous best being The Shrew's time, 4m 37 4-Sa, last year. The totalis&tor handled £19,270 to*day, a decrease of £BSB 10a compared with the second day last yesr. The total for the two days, £37,272, snowed a decline , of £4BB on last year's total.
