Mr. George H. Scott, of San Francisco, who has been revisiting New Zealand after an absence of 23 years, will leave on his return to America by the Aorangi tomorrow. .
Sir Francis Boys, of Christchurch, will leave Auckland to-day for Rotorua. ' fie will return on Thursday afternoon and will sail for England on the Port Napier on Sunday.

Major-General R. Young, General Offi cer Commanding the New Zealand Forces, arrived in Auckland from the South yesterday. morning, and later in the day inspected the Mounted Rifles camp at Waiuku. He will return to Wellington today.

Captain and Mrs. S. J. Philips, Mr. and Mrs. W, E. Sharpe, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Frazer, of Sydney, Mr. and Mrs. G. S. Lynde, and Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Chappell, of Wellington, and Mr. and Mrs. Meredith Kaye, of Christchurch, are at the Hotel Cargen.
Viscount and Viscountess Mandeville, of Huntingdonshire, England, who have been visiting Australia, are through passengers ftfr Vancouver on the Aorangi. They will tour the United States en route to England. Viscount Mandeville is the son and heir of the Dnke of Manches£er.
Mr. P. Haege, of Melbourne, who has frequently competed at lawn tennis tournaments in New Zealand, is a through passenger to Vancouver by the Aorangi, which arrived at Auckland from yesterday. It is his intention to compete at the Wimbledon tennis tournament in England in June.
Mr. A. W. Hall, of Bradford, England, Mr. D. R. Cameron Waller, and Mr. L. Henri, of London, Mr, J. A. Murray, of Philadelphia, Mr. H. E. Robinson, Mr. J. H. Keys, Mr. A. C. Bartley and Mr. E. Wallace, of Sydney, and Mr. A. Cornelius, Mr. D.' Ardeli and Mr. J. Hislop, of Wellington, are at the Grand Hotel.
Mr. H. Lewis, general manager of the Commercial Union Assurance Company, Limited, who has been investigating m Australia matters affecting the business of the company, arrived from Sydney by the Aorangi yesterday. He will spend a brief time in the Dominion on a similar mission before returning to England. Mr. lewis is at the Grand Hotel.
