THE DRAWING OF LOTS. j [from our own correspondent.] SYDNEY; March 29 It ■ was perhaps the knowledge : that wills give rise to quite a lot of heartburning at times, that prompted -a prominent society woman .of New South Wales, Miss Edith MacPhillamy, to give her last bequest something of a sporting and speculative flavour. Dying at the age of 73 years, she left an estate worth more than £38,000. Her furniture and personal effects she willed to specific parties.
