COLLAPSE AND DEATH.
MARRIED WOMAN'S FATE, When walking along Vincent Street shortly after 11 o'clock yesterday morning, an elderly woman collapsed suddenly on the pavement. Passers-by believed she had fainted ' and applied restorative measures, but when the St. John ambulance arrived, the transport officer found * she was dead. After the body had been removed to the public mortuary, it was identified as that of Mrs. Annie Lepine, aged 61, of 13, Burleigh Street, Mount Eden. It is stated Mrs. Lepino had for some time been receiving medical atiention for heart trouble.
