The Hamilton junior representatives played their second game on Saturday against a team _ selected from the Suburban Cricket Association. , The visitors, who were two short.. compiled 104 in their first innings, and the local team scored 152. JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVES. A WIN AGAINST LODGE TEAM. The Auckland Suburban junior representatives, who defeated Hamilton on Friday, were again successful on Saturday, when they won a good game against tne Combined Lodges team. With only seven players the junior scored 115. Of this total Matthews made 37 and Williams 35 not out, both playing excellent cricket. The lodge team scored only 60 against the bowling of Hollis, Armstrong, and Coleman, and the junior representatives won by 55 runs. Bowling analysis: Matthews took one wicket for 10 runs, Hollis four for 10, Coleman two for 10, Armstrong two for 9, Larsen none for 20. WELLINGTON V. HAWKE'S BAY. LOWRY IN EXCELLENT FORM. [BZ TELEGRAPHS— press association.] - NAPIER, Saturday. The cricket match between Hawko's Bay and Wellington was continued to-day under most favourable conditions. With three wickets down for 185 runs the visitors carried their first innings total to 323. Foley wa3 unbeaten with 117 to his credit, while Dempster (70) and James (42) did best of the others. Gilbertson took five wickets for 102 and Mitchell three for 121. Hawke's Bay opened well, and at the close of the day had lost four wickets for 274. Lowry ga-ve a fine display for 141. Beuthe made (-19) and Shepherd (46) also shaped well. A Hawke's Bay team also commenced a match to-day against Mariawatu and spent most of the day at the wickets in compiling 344. Elliott's display in making "117 was outstanding. He was ably assisted by Bradburn 53, Spackman 36. and Cane 35. Cameron took four wickets for 52, Young three for 14. and Gallichan two for 9-1. Manawatu, at the drawing of stumps, had lost one wicket for 25.
PUKEKOHE' Y. WAIKATO B. [BY XELEGEAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PUKEKOHE. Saturday! The Waikato B team visited Pukekohe to play the representatives of the Pukekohe Cricket Union. The home team won on the first innings by G7 runs. Pukekohe batted first and compiled 147 (P. Hickling 43, H. Hickiing 2t", R. Drake 11, J. Bonner 27. Zinzau, '2l). Waikato B in the first innings compiled 80 (Lissette 31. Stevens 16, P. Johnson 13). Pukekohe in the second innings made 148 for five wickets (Carter 32, C. Laurie 32, Cartwrighf 28. P. Hickling 17, H. Hickling 22), Waikato B made 132 runs for three wickets in the second innings (Lowry 19), Shead, 15. . Mcßae, 4G, Western 25,' Stevens 10 not out).
