TRANSATLANTIC CABLE.
NEW LINE TO BE LAID. ORDER PLACED IN ENGLAND. A. and N.Z.-Sun. LONDON. March 23. The Western Union Telegraph Company has ordered from England 1400 miles of cable for high-speed duplex working between Newfoundland and the Azores. The Western Union Telegraph Company at present has four transatlantic ines of cable between Penzance, Eng. land, and Bay Roberts, Newfoundland, four lines between Valentia, Ireland, and Hearts Content, Newfoundland, and one line from Rockaway Beach New Wk, to the Azores.
