Looked upon as authoritative in every way, M. & C. Opening Displays provide the anticipated opportunity for becoming acquainted with every whim of fashion. A Suggestion for To-day . . r'i■ • . - Since the displays are store-wide, and there is so much of interest on every floor, may we suggest Afternoon Tea in the Tudor Room, viewing at the same time the Mannequin Parades at 3.30 p.m. From the Tudor Room take the Elevator to the Fourth Floor, where you may inspect everything that is new and different in furnishings for the home: quaint pieces of reproduction furniture, beautiful carpets, the latest in hangings, artistic lightshades, cushions, etc. From here, a tour of thtf remaining floors is suggested. The Third, where the personally selected fashions from London, Paris and Vienna disclose the authentic style changes. The Second Floor, where Silks and Fabrics are revealed in the new weaves and colourings. Then a visit to the First Floor brings before you the smartest Footwear for morning, afternoon, and evening, as well as Autumn Apparel and Millinery for Juveniles, whilst on the Ground Floor are assembled the ntw Hosiery, Gloves, and everything in the way of fashionable accompaniments and adornments that go to complete a smart toilette for every occasion. - For This Evening the same suggestion applies. Mannequin Parades will be held during the tea hours —to be exact: 5.15, and again at 6.15 p.m. IN THE TUDOR ROOM ON Saturday Morning the session will be devoted to Sports Wear, when the smartest of frocks and ensembles for general outing wear will be revealed by the Mannequin Parades.
