DIPLOMATS URGE CESSATION.

A, and N.Z. SHANGHAI, March 13. ' The members of the diplomatic corps in Peking, realising that the prolonged internal warfare in China is largely dua to importations of munitions from abroad, held a conference. They decided to telegraph to their respective Governments drawing attention to the importance o£ the arms embargo of 1919 prohibiting the despatch of arras and munitions from their territories to China and requesting the Governments who have not taken measures to this effect to now do so.
