HAMILTON COURTHOUSE.
NEW PREMISES WANTED.

HAMILTON. Wednesday.
The annual meeting of the Hamilton Law Society was held to-day, Mr. W. Tudehope presiding, A resolution was passed that the strongest representation be made to the Minister of Justice for a new courthouse to be erected without delay. The inadequacy of the present courthouse was emphasised, and it was stated that at times there were as many as four Courts sitting at once without proper accommodation.
The election of officers resulted:—President, Mr. W. Tudehope; vice-president, Mr. F. A. Swarbrick; council, Messrs. P. H. Watts, C. L- MacDiarmid, S. Lewis, E. A. Cox and N. Johnson; auditor, Mr. H. M. Hammond; secretary, Mr. H. J. McMullin.
