RETIREMENT OF CHAIRMAN. i ; > » _____ « . < [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. Q WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The' Minister of Railways, Mr. Coates, confirmed the report that Mr. F, J. Jones will retire from the chairmanship of the Railway Board at the end of this month owing to ill-health. Mr. Coates had not received or considered tho request said to have beon made by Mr. A. W. Mouat, a member of the board, to be released from office.
