• ♦ —- EXTENSION OF FACILITIES. SERVICES TO LARGE TOWNS. A. and N.Z. WASHINGTON, March 8. The Post Office Department has adopted a programme which is designed to give an air mail service within 16 years to every city in the United States with a population of more than 50,000. The department expresses hopes for a great improvement in the facilities, with an increase in planes and mileage in the coming year.
