DEATH FROM SEPTICAEMIA.

MOTHER'S DEVOTED NURSING.

A. and N.Z.-Sun. TOKIO, March 8. The death of the little Princess Sachiko Hisa, the younger daughter of the Emperor Hirohito, which occurred yesterday, was due to septicaemia supervening on pneumonia. The Empress had nursed the child devotedly. The Emperor is suffering from catarrh, but is reported to be improving.

It is officially announced that the funeral of Princess Sachiko will take place on March 13. There will be no period of Court mourning, because of her infancy. The plans for the coronation of the Emperor will not be changed.
