CROQUET.
ONEHUNGA CLUB'S RECORD. The junior members of, the Onehunga Croquet Club entertained at an enjoyable social afternoon the club members who had taken part in the senior inter-club competitions during the season.' The club enjoys the unique record of winning the senior grade pennant for the eighth year in succession. A dainty afternoon tea was served, the tables being tastefully decorated with flowers and ferns. The president of the club, Mrs. C. J. Schnauer, thanked the members for arranging the function, and was supported by Mrs. J. E. Cowell and Mrs. A. A. Kenny, vice-presidents. Progressive croquet was played and the prizes were presented by Mrs. Jomis, who had acted as hostess for the afternoon The winners were Mesdames -W. A. Wallace, A. Craig and E. Evitt,
