The German passenger by the Ulimaroa on January 21 who was refused permission by the Customs Department to land in Sydney, is named Karl Kreft. He again arrived hero this morning by the Maunganui from Wellington. He failed in the dictation test and was declared a prohibited immigrant and sentenced to six months* imprisonment pending his deportation to Germany.
