VISIT OF ARCHBISHOP.

The itinerary of t*he coming visit to Paparoa of Archbishop Averill is as follows Arrives Saturday evening; confirmation service Sunday morning at"Paparoa'j preaches Maungaturoto afternoon ;■ confirmation service at Waipu in,the evening. The work of the Anglican .Church throughout the district is being consolidated through the active ministry of Rov. S. M. I. Salt. r .- ■ ■ ; . The visit to Paparoa of Mrs. Leo Cowie*, of Auckland, attracted considerable interest. Mr«. Lee Cowie addressed, a, meeting of the Women',* Christian Temperance TTnion and' also held speoial Sunday services in the Methodist Church in the morning and evening. She assisted at the afternoon meeting for tho inauguration of a Band of Hope. ITer addresses were an inspiration to church worker#*
