FARMER SEVERELY GORED. VICTIM SENT TO HOSPITAL. [BT TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WAIUKU, Monday. On Saturday morning, while Mr. James Cox was engaged in watering a Jersey bull, he was attacked by the animal and severely gored on tho left leg and face and then tossed over the fence. The injured man, who was rendered unconscious, was taken to his home on a stretcher, and after receiving medical attention was conveyed to tho Franklin Memorial Hospital, whore he is making satisfactory progress.
