EXPENDITURE BY BOARD. SUM OF £822,000 TO. DATE. A. and N,Z;-Sun. LONDON, Feb. 13. The Secretary of State for the Dominions, Mr. L. S. Amery, stated in the House of Commons that the expenditure by the Empire Marketing Board from May 26, .1927, to January 31, 1928, was £377,000. Of that £2OOO was spent on publicity and the-xentainder 6n economic investigation. The total expenditure since the inception of the board was £822,000, mostly on scientific research.
