DEATHS IN HEAT WAVE. QUEENSLAND'S EXPERIENCE. A. and N.Z. . BRISBANE, Feb. 14. A heat wave has been experienced in the western half of Queensland for the past week. Seven deaths are reported from the Cloncurry district, where the thermometer has registered as high as 117 degrees. BENEFICIAL RAINFALLS. VICTORIA AND N. S. WALES. A. and N.K. SYDNEY, Feb. 14. Beneficial rains have fallen in most parts of Victoria and New South Wales, especially at Broken Hill. There the drought has been definitely broken. Rain is still falling in the coastal areas.
