POLICE COURT NEWS.
FIGHTINQ IN THE STREET. Two men, Daniel Noonan, aged 66, and William Wright,, aged 77, were charged in the Police Court yesterday with fighting in Broadway Nowmarket. Both pleaded guilty. "It was just a bit of skylarking," said Noonan. "There was no animosity. We have known each othet for years." The magistrate, Sir. F. K. Hunt, admonished aud discharged both accused. Noonan was further charged with having a betting chart in his possession. To this he also pleaded guilty and again was admonished and discharged. An old offender, Quoenie Harwood, aged 25, in company with Jacqueline Kepa, aged 32, admitted being idle and disorderly. Major Gjordon, of the Salvation Army, said both accused might benefit if given a chalice. They were convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within 12 mouths.
