EDITOR OF MORNING POST* DR. 1 MARIE STOPES SUED. A. and. N.Z. LONDON, Jan. 26< Mr. H. A.' Gwynne, editor of the Morn* ing Post, has been awarded £2OO damages in a libel action against Dr. Marie Stopes. The action arose out of her letter to the Duke of Northumberland, in which she suggested that Roman Catholics wera manipulating the paper, because the Morning Post refused to continue to print the advertisements of the Society of Constructive Birth ControL Mr. Gwynne, in evidence, said he nevet knew prior to the case that Roman Catholics were the chief antagonists of birth control.
