FALL DOWN LIFT WELL.
SAILOR FATALLY INJURED. EARLY MORNING DISCOVERY, A fatal accident occurred in the Victoria Hotel, Victoria Street, at 5.30 yesterday morning, S. T. W. Weaving,, aged 20, a sailor on H.M.S. Dunedin, being found unconscious at the foot of the liftwell. On removal to the Auckland Hosipital it was found he had sustained a fracture of the skull, and he died shortly after admission.
