WEDDINGS.

The marriage of Miss' Eleanor Dolores Vallance, only daughter of Mr. W T Valance, of Windsor Road, Avoudale, the late Mrs. Vallance, to Mr. Jack Albert Crum, third soil of Mr. and Mrs. A. Crum, of New Lynn, took place in St*' Jade's Church, Avondale, last Menday evening The Revs. A. Drake and H R. Jecks officiated. The bride, who was given aws.y by her father# wore a - beautiful dress of cream satin with skirt of chiffon flounces edged with silver lace and a veil with coronet of orange biossom. She carried a bouquet of roses and • carnations. Miss E. Potter was bridesmaid, and wore a charming frock of brae, georgette with a Juliette cap of silver. Her bouquet was of carnations and sweet peas. Mr. W.* R. Vallance was best man. The marriage was celebrated in St. Matthew's Church on Wednesday evening of Miss Myrtle Melbina Edwards, oniy daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Edwards, of Grey Lynn, to Mr. Lotus Stuart Grigg, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Grigg, of Point Chevalier. Canon Grant, Cowen officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of white iaffcita with a heJi 0:1! white not covered with small sprays of orange* blossom. Her tulle veil formed ■ a tram and was finished with a coronet of orange blossom , and she carried a shower banquet of white roses and Christmas lilies. The bridesmaids were Miss Jean Grigg, wearing a frock of russet brown taffeta, and. Miss Rhoda Evans and Miss Olive Evans, wearing frocks of viola mauve ruched taffeta. Their head-dresses were of tulle and they carried shower bouquets of fiowers toning with their frocks. Mr. G. Grigg, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. i St. Mark's Church, Remuera, was the scene of a popular wedding yesterday. afternoon, when Miss Dorothy Cooper was married ■to Mr. Herbert F. Prothero, of London. The ceremony was performed by the Rev Jasper Calder. The bride, Who entered the church on the arm of her stepfather, Mr. H. Mann, wore an ?Early Victorian frock of white Satin with a transparent hem of net, and a skirt of silver lace. Streamers of pale pink ribbons were finished at the waist with a spray of orange blossom. The veil of Honiton lace and tulle, formed a train which was covered in small pink and silver rosebuds. The veil was caught at the sides of the head with sprays of orange blossom, and at the back with a dainty silver butterfly. The bride carried a beautiful bouquet of white roses with the faintest touch of pink. The two matrons of honour, Mrs. L. Wallis, of Wellington, and Mrs. B. Hoves, wore charming frocks of snaaea green frilled georgette. Their line straw hats wore trimmed ttnth large roses at the side, and they earned horseshoe bouquets of pink sweet peas.
