PHYSICAL INSTRUCTORS.

REFRESHER COURSE OPENED. [by telegraph.—press association.] DUNEDIN. Thursday A refresher coarse for the Education Department's physical instructors was opened to-day at the Training College by the Director of Education, Mr. T. B. Strong. Fourteen instructors from all parts of New Zealand are attending the course, which as being conducted by Mr. H. E. Longworth, the department's director. Physical training will extend until Wednesday. A preliminary address was given by Dr. J. Renfrew White, dealing with physical defects of both children and adults.
