THE COMMUNITY CLUB.

Sir, —Whore is the office of the Community Club until recently held in the old Napier Street school ? Many of us fathers of the lads would like to call in the dinner hour and on the way home from work to have a talk with the superintendent, who was liked and respected by everyone in the district. He certainly smartened up the lads who attended the club, and now the place is closed they all miss him. Fathers liked to see him when they could at night time, as it was a pleasure to hold conversation with a broad-minded, travelled man like him, who had the interest of the boys at heart and who- could always find time to spend a few minutes with the men also. What is going to happen now the school is pulled down and what are the boys going to do without Captain West and his friends for the boxing and games ? We want him back with us soon, anyhow. )yril Pendholme.
