TO-DAY'S WEATHER. HERALD'S SPECIAL FORECAST. Tho following weather forecast for 24 hours from 7 a.m. to-day was supplied to us by Mr. 11. M. Vincent last evening : —Fair to cloudy weather is indicated, with scattered showers, particularly iti East Coast districts. Southerly to southwesterly winds, moderate to strong, docreasing, and veering by west to north. Seas moderate. The recent cyclonic disturbance, which operated with severity in southern areas, lias passed rapidly eastward, and conditions have shown an improvement. Barometric pressure is increasing temporarily. A new disturbance is expected to follow shortly from tho west.

The Government meteorologist reported last evening as follows:—Present indications are for moderate to strong south westerly winds, squally at times along the oast coast south from Castlepoint, but decreasing; weather cool, fair to cloudy generally, but with some isolated showers in the east coast district.
