MOTORS AND BY-LAWS.
Sir, —It is time local bodiea wero compelled to prosecute under their by-laws. By charging under the Act and employing a solicitor it is purely for revenue, and magistrates should tell them so. Motorists should not be compelled to pay the wages of the various traffic inspectors. The suggestion that all fines should go to the Main Highways Board is a good one. Motorist.
