TOO MUCH PLAY.

HOURS OF CRICKET MATCHES. [by telegraph.— press association.] CKRISTCHURCH. Monday Cricketers in Canterbury have decided that they can have too much even of a good thing. When the Summer Time Act was passed it was decided that all matches should continue until 7.30 p.m. Players have found the long afternoon laborious and the late hour of stopping irksome, and this evening the Canterbury Association revised the hours of play. In future senior A and senior B matches will cease at 7 p.m. and all other matches at 6.30 p.m., with a compulsory afternoon tea adjournment.
