THAMES OLD GIRLS.
The Thames Old Girls' Association held a most enjoyable afternoon yesterday, when there was a large attendance of members and friends. Th|s president, Mrv A. Oldham, presided. Some interesting ret miniscences of Thames were given by Mr. G. White, and Mrs." Woolley, secretary, Mrs. Black, and Mrs. White, spoke briefly on'- the association's plans for helping the needy at Christmas time. A programme was rendered by the following :—Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Lewis, songs, and. Miss Stone and Mr. Coath, recitations. Afternoon tea was served by the committee and the meeting concluded with the singing of Auld Lang Syne.
