ELECTORAL. - POWER in the matter of the "Electric-Power Boards Act, 1925," the "Local Bodies" Loans Act, 1926," the "Local Government Loans Board Act, 192G," and amendments and regulations made thereunder respectively, the WAITEMATA ELECTRIC - POWER BOARD, a body corporate duly constituted under the provisions of the "Electric-Power Boards Act. 1925," hereby gives <notice in terms of the "Local Bodies' Loans Act. 1926," that they propose to raise a Special Loan of £BO,OOO (eighty thousand pounds) for the following purposes:— (a) For the purpose of purchasing, constructing and providing Electrio Works as defined in the "Electric-Power Boards Act, 1925," in order to Bupply and to extend the supply of electricity within the whole of the Waitemata Electrio-Power District, and for providing funds for the purposes mentioned under Section 118 of the said Act. (S-ection 118 authorises the Board to install motors, electric wires, electric lamps and other fittings and equipment in public or private buildings, works, dwellings and other places and to accept payment therefor by instalments.) (b) For the purpose of securing the repayment of trie said Special Loan a special annually reourring rate of 9/C4ths (nine eixty-fourths) of a penny in the £ will be made and levied upon the ratable value of all ratable proporty within the whole of the Waitemata Power District, (c) It is proposed to make such loan repayable in 861 (thirty-Bis: and one-half) years, and to make provision for the repayment thereof by a sinking fund of 1 p.o (one per centujn) per annum. (d) It is proposed to pay out of the loan moneys the first year's interest, but not the cost of raising the Loan. Dated this 19th day of October, 1927. J. W. HAYDEN, Chairman.

The vote of any Ratepayer may be recorded at any Polling Booth within the Waitemata Electrio Power District, irrespective of the location of the rateable property in respect of which the ratepayer is entitled to vate. also at the Booth at the Board's Office. 81, Albert Street. Auckland. " Ratepayer " as defined in the "Electric Power Boards Act. 1925," means a person whose name appears for the time being in the occupier's column in the valuation roll. Where tne rateable property is in th«i name of the husband, the wife is not entitled to vote, and vice versa.
