SCAFFOLD CLOTHES BOUGHT. GIFT TO LONDON MUSEUM. (Received November 1, 5.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z. LONDON, Oct. 31. Mr. Ernest Makowa, of Melbourne, has purchased the collection of clothing worn by Charles I. on the scaffold, and has presented it to the. London Museum. The collection had been the property of the Earls of Lindsey for teft generations. Recently it was offered for sale on condition that it should remain in a national institution.
