BOTANICAL EXPERT.
TOUR OF DOMINIONS. NEW ZEALAND IN ITINERARY. (Received November 1. 5.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z.-Sun. LONDON, Oct. 31. A tour of the Empire is about to be undertaken by Dr. A. W. Hill, director of the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, and technical adviser in botany to the Ministry of Agriculture. Dr. Hill will leave London on Thursday under the auspices of the Empire Marketing Board, and will he absent six months. He will go to Aus tralia and New Zealand, and will visit the various research institutes connected with botany, agriculture and forestry Dr. Hill will also make a general study ot the flora of the two Dominions, particularly in relation to economic questions.
