ACCEPTANCE OF TENDER. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.J DARGAVILLE, Tuesday Five tenders were received for the erection of a soldiers' war memorial band rotunda on the foreshore at Dargaville, the lowest, that of Mr. W. Lee, at £257 17s, being accepted. This amount, with exception of about £7O, is ltf hand. The memorial has been under review for some years, and its erection will be welcomed by the people of Dargaville. In addition to this memorial thero is an area of about 15 acres set aside as the Northern Wairoa Memorial Park, for which £IOOO is in hand for improvement worki.
