REPORTS OF MANAGERS. Maoriland.—The Crosscut at No. 4 level has been advanced Bft., making the total to date- 127 ft. The country is still very difficult to shoot. It is of a blocky nature, and the heads 'are of quartz casing, carry, ins a considerable amount of the right class of mineral. During: the week sleepers have also been cut and carried in from the bush, and the line has been repaired. Kufanui.—The drive on the leader in the foot wall of the main reef has been advanced 10ft for the week, a total of 25ft from the: crosscut. The leader still maintains its size" being encased in a nice class of country We have carried a leading stope along the. back of the drive for 15ft and the quartz broken from here shows a lot of blend and -silica.
